Fire Fighting with the Bull
Hog®

|
Destruction of property due to forest fires is preventable.
The devastation a few years ago
in Kelowna, BC shows us that more needs to be done. Hundreds of
homes
were
destroyed, tens of thousands of people were evacuated,
and millions of dollars a day were spent on fire fighting.

We are saddened by
the loss, and we salute the brave fire fighters and all the people
who helped with the evacuation efforts.
We need to invest more
time and efforts into prevention, so that this will not happen
again in the future. Work needs to be done, clearing out brush
and combustible materials adjacent to urban areas. We also need
to
thin out forested
areas, and create more fire breaks.
Here
at Northland Chipper Sales, we have the tools that can help,
including the Bull
Hog®. |
With the Bull Hog®
you have a great tool to work on fire prevention.
It can cut fire breaks and also reduce the brush and up to 4"
dia. trees that pose the greatest threat. |
 |
Use the Bull Hog®
as part of your fuel load reduction.
It is great for thinning out
wooded areas, to reduce the risk of fire.
And it doesn't damage adjacent trees. |
The Bull Hog®
is great for Wildland
/ Urban Interface (WUI)
projects, and clearing land around buildings.
For modest jobs, on flat or gentle
slopes, a Bull Hog® mounted on a carrier
such as this Takeuchi is ideal.
For contractors, this is an excellent niche market opportunity,
enabling you to go after government and private work. |
